I really didn't want to dip back into not working out, so I figured Yoga would be helpful. Lo and behold, there were plenty of YouTube Yoga videos for people feeling under the weather.
She keeps talking about lymphatic drainage, ew!
The second video was long and my attention span is not long when it comes to working out over YouTube. But overall, it felt good. The dropping of the head was really nice. I hate doing anything when I'm even a tad bit sick (I'm a huge baby) but the Yoga felt good. I didn't get my cardio up too high but I don't think I could have handled that yesterday or today, maybe tomorrow. Okay time for some fresh ginger green tea.

Who knew that yoga was the perfect "I'm too sick to leave the house" workout. If I'm not feeling better tomorrow, this video is on my to do list!
ReplyDeleteThanks for being apart of the #FitnessFriday movement chica!

I hope I'm feeling up for a run tomorrow but I wouldn't mind doing some Yoga if I'm not.
DeleteYoga is my new kick for 2014. I want to improve my stress levels & tight muscles and flexibility.

YES! I really need to focus on being more flexible. Lately with strength training, my muscles have been tighter. The stretching in yoga helps.
DeleteYes girl, when the weather is nicer I do SO much better so I understand! Hooray for getting back on it, even with a cold!
ReplyDeleteWelcome to my blog! The beautiful weather, ahhhhh just love it. I can't run in the cold, uh uh not me.
DeleteGood job with holding yourself accountable to at least do SOMETHING even when sick. You're much better than I!
ReplyDeleteI'm so hard on myself, I wish I could have done more but when I'm sick, I really like my rest.
